When the Jockey Club Racecourses rebranded itself in January 2007 it represented an unrivalled opportunity for expansion for the £60 Million group. With 14 courses around the country and responsible for holding the most watched steeplechase event in the whole world, the Grand National, which attracts 600 Million viewers globally, the group wished to focus on building a global brand for itself.
The company turned to Dynamic Solutions to help with Executive Coaching for senior management and training for the sales and marketing team, with the objective of maximising sales of corporate hospitality and events held on the non-race days which account for 90 per cent of the year, as well as helping the team focus on customer service. With senior managers from Marks and Spencer and Diageo, the world’s largest drinks manufacturer, Proctor and Gamble and Johnson and Johnson, all of whom are expert brand marketers, it’s a powerful combination and the group is now well on the way to achieving the results it desires.
